Biden says meeting with Putin will take place in June

On May 7, US President Joe Biden, answering journalists' questions, expressed confidence that his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin could occur in June.

He says the time and place of their meeting have not yet been agreed.

"I'm sure we can do it, but right now, there is no specific time or place; we are working on it," Biden said.

We will remind, on April 13, that a telephone conversation took place between the presidents of the United States and Russia. According to the White House, Joe Biden invited Vladimir Putin to hold a meeting in a third country.

Austria Chancellor Sabastian Kurz proposed to hold a meeting between the US President and the Russian President in Vienna.
