A British strain of coronavirus has been discovered in Azerbaijan. Information about this is spread by the National Center for Hematology and Transfusion.
"Genomic analysis of SARS Cov-2 revealed 501Y.V1, B.1.1.7 (British strain) in three samples," the statement said.
Samples were taken from individuals who came to Azerbaijan from abroad. Similar studies are conducted regularly to observe questionable cases.
