Burglars have broken into the house of The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomeus I in Istanbul, Greece media outlets report. The burglars failed to steal anything from the house. A servant inside the house called the police immediately.
The Ecumenical Patriarch's house is located in the guard-gated community. In what manner the burglars managed to break into the house has remained unknown so far.
