The Parliament of Catalonia has approved the resolution, according to which the region does not recognize Philip VI, the Kind of Spain writes El Periodico.
Kim Torras, the leader of the Catalonian government, has summoned the plenary meeting. Reportedly, the Parliament declares Catalonia a republic; hence it does not recognize the King and the monarchy in general.
