Coronavirus observed in gorillas

The San Diego Zoo in the USA announced the infection of a gorilla with a coronavirus.

"A test of gorillas belonging to a group turned out to be positive for SARS-CoV-2. The virus causes COVID-19. On Wednesday, January 6, two gorillas started coughing, and on January 11, the laboratory confirmed the positive results," reads the statement.

The animals were allegedly infected by an asymptomatic worker infected with the coronavirus.
