Curfew and mask requirement lifted in France

The Prime Minister of France, Jean Castex, has announced that from June 17, it will no longer be mandatory to wear a mask in the streets, Deutsche Welle writes.

According to the publication, the only exceptions will be crowded gatherings and enclosed spaces.

In addition, the "curfew" will be abolished from June 21.

Since the spread of the pandemic to date, 5,744,589 cases of the new type of coronavirus have been detected in France. The disease has killed 110,530 infected people.
