According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, during the day on November 6 and on the night of November 7, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia subjected the positions of the Azerbaijani army in various directions of the front and settlements of Azerbaijan to shelling from different small arms, artillery, and mortars.
"Fighting operations with varying intensity mainly continued on the Agderin, Agdam, and Khojavend areas of the front. In some front sectors, the enemy suffered losses in human resources and equipment and retreated.
There are losses among the companies of the 1st battalion of the 6th mountain rifle regiment of the enemy.
Currently, combat operations continue in all directions of the front," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement said.
