Driest desert in the world covered with snow

Heavy snow fell in the Atacama desert, the driest desert in the world.

The thickness of the snow cover in some places reached 15 centimeters.

Residents of the city of El Salvador say they had not seen anything like this, at least in the last 30 years if it was snowing before; it only happened in June-July.

At the end of August, the white snow was called a miracle by the locals.
