Erdogan says Russia-Ukraine conflict must be resolved peacefully

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for a peaceful resolution Russia-Ukraine tensions.

After meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, he told reporters in Istanbul that Russia-Ukraine conflicts must be resolved as shortly and peacefully as possible.

“We will do our best for it,’’ Erdogan added.

He also emphasized that Turkey’s position regarding Crimea is unchanged.
