EU extends sanctions against Russia

The European Union has extended sanctions against Russia for another six months for violating Ukraine's territorial integrity. The relevant statement was published on the official website of the Council of the European Union.

The sanctions against those responsible for the violation of the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine have been extended until March 15, 2022.

According to the document, the sanctions include travel restrictions, freezing of accounts, and a ban on economic activities. The sanctions apply to 177 individuals and 48 companies.
