Facebook found 40 million posts that contained false information about the new coronavirus in March. The social network released a statement regarding the misinformation.
As an example, the statement tells about the alleged healing properties of bleach and the information about the ineffectiveness of keeping a social distance.
Facebook says more than 60 fact-checking organizations, whose specialists speak dozens of languages, are checking the platform.
