Foreign Minister of Turkey addresses Armenia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevluut Cavusoglu, responded to the news of the death of an Azerbaijani soldier on Twitter.

"I would like to express my condolences to the brotherly Azerbaijani people and family on the dead junior sergeant. I call on Armenia to come to its senses and stop the aggression," the Turkish Foreign Minister wrote.

The Turkish Defense Ministry also made a statement, calling on Armenia not to "play with fire."

On September 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan issued a statement regarding the sergeant's death.
