France registered a record 60,486 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Friday, after posting a record 58,046 on Thursday, health ministry data showed.
Coronavirus complications have killed 430 in the country.
More than 1.6 million COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in France since its outbreak. A total of 39,845 people have died.
