The customs officers found 8 frozen migrants in a truck in Calais, ferry port in northern France.
They are alive and currently are undergoing treatment.
The truck was heading to the UK.
According to customs officials, the temperature in the refrigerator was -7 degrees Celsius.
Migrants say they have fled from Afghanistan. The car was driven by two Romanians. Police arrested both of them.
