Fumio Kishida appointed on the post of PM of Japan

The Parliament of Japan has officially elected Fumio Kishida as the Prime Minister of the country, BBC reports.

Kishida's candidacy was supported by 311 out of 458 deputies.

Kishida has become the 100th Prime Minister of Japan. A 64-year-old, Fumio Kishida, was elected as the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party a few days ago. Today, his candidacy was officially approved by the country's parliament.
