Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for Internal Market, stated that the EU member countries plan to introduce coronavirus vaccination passports starting June 15, LCI reports.

A total of 27 countries have already approved the ‘European Health Certificate,’ which is subject to request by EU citizens in their countries.

Breton says the certificate QR code includes the following data:

-Owner’s birth date;

-Owner’s personal number;

-Vaccine type;

-Information on coronavirus antibodies if the owner has undergone novel coronavirus;

-If a person has not been vaccinated and has not been sick, the certificate should include PCR test results.

The certificate will be able to be downloaded as a mobile application. The EU official said it would not be mandatory.
