Ilham Aliyev and Antony Blinken have a telephone conversation

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on the phone.

According to the Aliyev administration, during a conversation with Blinken, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan spoke about Karabakh and stressed the importance of opening transport communications.

According to the State Department, Blinken stressed the importance of continuing talks with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through a long-term political agreement.
