Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin speak on the phone

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, spoke by telephone, Russian media writes based on the Kremlin press service.

The leaders congratulated each other on the 76th anniversary of victory in World War II during a telephone conversation.

Aliyev and Putin noted that both countries respect the memory of the heroes who died in the war and expressed their gratitude to the veterans who showed incomparable devotion in the war.
