"There will be no referendum in Nagorno-Karabakh," the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the Japanese newspaper Nikkei.
"We did not agree to this during the talks. Now that we have returned most of the territories, it is even more superfluous to talk about it. As for self-determination, Armenians have already used their right to self-determination. They have an independent Armenian state," Aliyev said.
