Information about genetic code of COVID-19 disappeares from the US database

Information about the genetic code of the primary variant of COVID-19, removed from the Wuhan Laboratory at the end of 2019, has been removed from the US database, Bloomberg writes.

The data was initially handed over in March 2020 to the US-based Sequence Read Archive. According to the US National Institutes of Health, the same researcher "requested removal" three months later in June.

Politicians and academics worldwide are increasingly dissatisfied with China's attempts to disrupt the investigation into the origins of Covid-19.

According to Trump, the Chinese government has destroyed evidence of the spread of COVID-19 from Wuhan Laboratory.
