Joe Biden spoke to European leaders

After meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a video conference format, US President Joe Biden held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and provided information about their conversation. "The leaders stressed their support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the need for Russia to reduce tensions and engage in diplomacy," the statement said.

According to the White House, the leaders agreed that their representatives would be in active contact with each other, as well as with NATO allies and partners from the EU.
