Kim Jong-un ready for confrontation with Biden

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said the country must be ready for both dialogue and confrontation with the new US administration. BBC spreads the information based on the country's central telegraph agency.

According to reports, Kim Jong-un addressed the plenum of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea, where he analyzed the policy of the new US administration towards Pyongyang.

"The Secretary-General stressed the need for both dialogue and readiness for confrontation, especially for comprehensive preparation for confrontation in order to protect the dignity of our state," writes the Central Telegraph Agency of North Korea.

In May, US President Joe Biden said he was ready to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un if he agreed to denuclearization.
