LGBT supporters march in Poland

Reuters reports the LGBT supporters march of protest is held Warsaw on the background of preparations for the presidential election.

Lately, the sexual minority theme became the topic of debates between the presidential candidates.

Several hundred people gathered in the city center. The anti-government protest was triggered by the statement made by President Andrzej Duda. Last Sunday, Andrzej Duda declared in his TV interview that LGBT representatives are not equal to “normal” personalities.

Later, the President explained that his words were taken out of the context and that his election campaign team denied the accusations in homophobia.

In Poland, the presidential elections are scheduled for June 28. The electorate has the choice to vote in polls ow through the post.
