The Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, said the United States wanted another 55 Russian diplomats to leave the country, along with the administrative-technical staff of the embassy and consulates.
Zakharova notes that this actually means expulsion, which will worsen the situation in the diplomatic direction.
According to the Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, there are currently 130 American diplomats working in Russia, and up to 200 in Russian missions in Washington, and two consulates in Houston and New York.
