Meetings on Cyprus issues continue

According to António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, official talks on the Cyprus issue will resume. The parties have not reached any agreement on the ongoing negotiations in Geneva in the "5 + 1" format.

A two-day informal meeting took place in Geneva, Switzerland, on April 27, with representatives from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Greece, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and the Greek part of Cyprus. The main topic of the meeting was the future and status of the two republics of Cyprus.
