German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Baku and Yerevan to immediately terminate Karabakh's military clashes, Deutsche Welle reports.
Merkel held a phone talk with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.
''The military operations must immediately stop, and essential talks should resume with the OSCE Minsk group involvement,'' Merkel said.
She stated that she welcomed the ceasefire agreement signed by the parties in Moscow on October 9.
