As French media outlets report, Nice residents noticed a meteor falling in southern France on April 24.
The meteor fell at 22:26 local time, but it burnt until it entered the atmosphere.
Such meteors are called fireballs.
Photos and videos taken by surveillance cameras and people are available on social media.
