Mexico to use anti-malaria aid to cure COVID-19

Federal Commission on Sanitation Risk Protection of Mexico has issued a permit to use anti-malaria medicament, Hydroxilchlorid, to treat coronavirus-infected patients. The aid to be used only in emergency cases since the clinical tests have proved its efficiency, the statement reads.

Novartis company donated 130 thousand doses of Hydroxychloroquine packs to the Mexican government earlier.

The World Health Organization noted that the medication to be used only for clinical tests and emergency cases under clinical supervision.
