Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is in a state of emergency due to a resurgent coronavirus outbreak, and additional steps are needed to try to stem the spread, Bloomberg news reads.
The Prime Minister said that the cabinet of ministers would reconvene to decide on new restrictions and present a plan within the next few days.
Israel counts 29,366 cases of coronavirus infections, including 330 who died.
