By the decree of the President of the country, Ilham Aliyev, the name of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies got changed to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The decree states that the agency's name change is aimed at improving governance in the field of digitalization, innovation, high technology, and communication in Azerbaijan.
