Oldest person in the world turns 119 years old

Japanese woman Kane Tanaka, considered to be the oldest person in the world, turned 119 on January 2nd. According to Report.ge, the information is spread by Kyodo News.

Tanaka currently lives in a nursing home in Fukuoka Prefecture. She celebrated her birthday there.

Kane Tanaka was born on January 2, 1903. She went through two world wars, two pandemics, and twice defeated cancer. She loves chocolate and fizzy drinks and intends to live until she turns 120 years old.
