Over 90 victims of a terror attack in Somalia

At least 90 civilians, mostly students, were killed in the blast at the security and taxation checkpoint. Seventeen of ninety are policemen. The bomb blast took place in rush hours at one of the checkpoints. Around 100 people suffered. According to locals, the majority of killed are students. Two citizens of Turkey are killed.

None of the terror organizations has taken responsibility for the act, though the acts of terror organized by al-Shabaab, an organization connected to Al-Qaeda, are a frequent event in this place.

Islamic armed group al Shabaab attempted a rebel ten years ago. Then they were forced out of the capital city in 2011. Despite the fact, they still managed to establish control over a part of the country territory.
