The capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, is preparing for the large-scale celebration of the 31st anniversary of the January 20 tragedy at the Martyrs' Lane.
Infrastructure and recreational works are underway in the memorial park. Lighting, lawns, green cover, got renewed, and new trees got planted. Due to the tragic day, landscape designers are working on a colorful composition.
Preparatory work will be completed on January 19.
