Stationary and mobile quarantine posts have been installed at the entrances and exits of Baku, on the streets and avenues of the administrative territory, local media reports.
Detachments were reportedly formed from police and military personnel of the Internal Troops.
"The main goal is to prevent further spread of the coronavirus pandemic and to minimize new cases of infection. Therefore, we once again ask citizens to comply with the relevant requirements of the Cabinet. Administrative measures will be applied to those who violate the law," the media wrote.
