Ramzan Kadyrov temporarily suspended due to health problems

Ramzan Kadyrov, the Head of the Chechen Republic, stated that he is not able to fulfill his duties due to health problems and has appointed Muslim Kuchiev, as acting head of the region.

Kadyrov says that after completing the course of treatment, he will return to his duties. Kadyrov signed his resignation on January 13, but the news was announced right after the Russian government resigned yesterday.

According to Chechnya officials, this is not the first time Kadyrov decided to act this way, and it is a widespread practice in Russian regions.
