Russia's annual military parade to be cancelled

The 2020 Moscow Victory Day Parade taking place on Moscow's Red Square on 9 May annually is set to be cancelled, according to РБК.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will issue an official statement on the recently made decision by the end of the week. An optional date has not yet been named as allegedly it has not been fixed due to the unpredictable global pandemic.

Russia has so far recorded 24,490 cases and 198 deaths.
