Russian military intelligence hit by EU sanctions

The European Union agreed on a package of sanctions against the intelligence services of Russia, China, and North Korea. Strict regulations include freezing the accounts of the Russian military intelligence service, the so-called GRU, the Beijing and Pyongyang intelligence services. In addition to the agencies, the list also includes individual officials.

The new sanctions are related to cyberattacks using exploits: WannaCry, NotPetya, and Cloud Hopper.
