Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, decided to oppose him after she was denied political sinecures for certain people the list of who she presented to the President.
"The era of deals and favoritism has ended for good.
Look how well the opposition looks now; what a nice face and figure it has! You know why? Just because it has been denied "sweets," writes Mr Zelensky on the social media.
A few days ago, the Batkivshchyna party revealed its plan to join the opposition.
