A soldier killed eight people in the military unit in Zabaykale district, Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reports.
According to the agency, the soldier fired at colleagues.
"8 people were killed at the scene and two were wounded", the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The soldier is arrested. His motives are yet unknown.
