Ten HALO Trust employees killed in Afghanistan

Unidentified masked gunmen in Afghanistan killed at least ten employees of the non-profit organization HALO Trust and injured 14 more. The local media and Reuters write about the incident.

The incident took place in Baghlan province. The Afghan government has blamed members of the radical Taliban for the incident.

The HALO Trust is engaged in demining and defusing explosive ordnance.
