A man hit a baby elephant with a motorcycle in Thailand. It turned out that a rescue worker off duty was at the scene. The accident did not confuse him; he helped the baby elephant using artificial respiration and did a gill massage, BBC writes about this.
Mana Srivate said he had performed dozens of resuscitation attempts in his career but never on an elephant.
The video, which immediately spread worldwide, shows how a rescue worker performs resuscitation manipulations on an animal.
After 10 minutes, the baby elephant rose.
"When he got up, I almost cried," the man said.
