The church service to be on-line in South Korea

Churches closed amid the coronavirus epidemic in South Korea. Many of the churches will conduct service on-line. By doing so, the government tried to minimize public gatherings.

The Yoido Church in Seoul placed the service video on YouTube. It has 560,000 followers. The spirituals are also placed there, showing a small group of singers instead of a traditional 200-member chore.

It is the first time in 236 years of history that the Korean Catholic and Buddhist churches canceled the services. The majority of Christian churches shifted to the on-line regime.

Currently, there are 3,526 confirmed coronavirus cases in South Korea, out of which 376 are registered during the last 24 hours.

South Korea is the second country after China of coronavirus spread. At present, coronavirus killed 17 people in the country.
