Robert Koch Institute reports a total of 181,196 cases of infection in Germany, including 738 of the last 24 hours. Thirty-nine people died in the previous day, adding to the total fatalities of 8,489. The number of people who recovered from the virus is 165,000.
The highest rate of infection is in Bavaria, reaching 46,854; North Rhine-Westphalia – 37,910; Baden-Wuerttemberg – 34,718.
