One of the “Novichok” inventors, Vil Mirzayanov, apologized to the Russian oppositionist, Alexei Navalny, write Deutsche Welle.
Mirzayanov, who is living in the United States of America since 1995, says that he dedicated the rest of his life to fighting the use of poisons.
The scientists recollected a fact of meeting a man in 1993 who had evaded death after being poisoned with “Novichok.” Mirzayanov says that the symptoms of that man and Navalny are identical.
“All symptoms are identical. Navalny managed to evade death. Obviously, Navalny will need will power to evade finally.” – said Mirzayanov and added that it might take a year for Navalny to recover fully.
