The name Holland disappeared from world map

The name Holland will no longer exist on the world map from January 1. All official agencies and diplomatic missions in the country will only use the official name - the Netherlands.

The reform will cost the country's budget 200,000 euros, but as the country's foreign ministry said, the change was made to form a national brand.

The decision is related to updating the country's image. The country's government believes that Holland is associated with drugs among tourists and the Red Lantern Quarter, which should be changed in parallel with the name change.
