The country leading epidemiologist, Neil Ferguson believes that the pandemic peak in Great Britain is expected to be 7-10 days, CNN reports.
Ferguson considers important the peak period prolongation. He hopes that the peak to go fast and the number of infections to decrease. He says that by that time, they see the signs of epidemic slowing down.
COVID-19 has killed 4,313 and infected 41,903 people in Great Britain.
