The tulips day celebrated in Amsterdam - PHOTO VIDEO

The Tulips’ Day is a National Holiday in Amsterdam. The 2500 sq.m. of Amsterdam’s Dam Square was filled with approximately 200,000 tulips of different colors. These tulips are specially arranged to make a giant temporary garden, which is open to the public for flower picking. Moreover – it is free!

The National Tulip Day is the official launch of the tulip season.

Annually Netherlands producers grow 1,7 to 2 million tulips, which are exported to a hundred countries around the World.
