The WHO Director-General addresses the world

“As long as COVID 19 is circulating, we are all at risk. That’s why we’re asking everyone to treat the decisions about where they go, what they do, and whom they meet with as life-and-death decisions – because they are.” – said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.

The WHO Director-General once more brought attention to the urgency of social distancing and emphasized that by violating this requirement, we create risks to ourselves and our beloved people. He mentioned that despite that the coronavirus cases have decreased in number in some of the regions, the safety measures remain urgent.

“In recent weeks, we have seen outbreaks associated with night clubs and other social gatherings, even in places where transmission has been suppressed. We must remember that people are still susceptible to this virus” – said Ghebreyesus.
