Thunderbolt kills 23 in India

At least 23 people were killed, and 29 others injured by a thunderbolt in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, in the North part of India, writes India Today.

Reportedly, eight people died in Allahabad, six in Mirzapur, two in Kaushambi, and one in Jaunpur.

A report from the Relief Commissioner's Office said that nine others in Prayagraj, 10 in Mirzapur, and four in Kaushambi suffered severe burns. The local government will allocate finance in support of the families of the killed people.
