One person was killed and 16 injured in a tornado in northeastern China, Xinhua agency reports.
According to local authorities, 240 people have been evacuated from Shanxi.
As a result of bad weather, 148 houses were destroyed, and agricultural lands got damaged. The loss is estimated at 795 thousand USD.
